The cottage at Parkside, part of The Loch Ness Cottage Collection, was the highlight of our trip to the Highlands. It beautifully combines luxury and affordability. The building has been tastefully renovated with high-end finishes and stylish furniture. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The kitchen was well-equipped, although we did struggle with the instructions for the cooker. However, the wood-burning stove more than made up for it, creating a cozy atmosphere during our stay. We particularly appreciated the porch and utility room, which were perfect for drying off after hiking in the rain. The hosts were responsive and helpful, making us feel welcome.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks during our stay. the location of the cottage is close to a busy road, which means a bit of traffic noise.

The cottage at Parkside was spot on! Let me tell you, the bathroom situation was top-notch. I mean, two bathrooms - can you believe it? And both had showers! Plus, there was a hairdryer and even a washing machine. It was like a dream come true for me, as a messy traveler who hates doing laundry. I felt like a king!
Now, I've got to be honest, there was one thing that I didn't love. The fact that both bathrooms only had showers was a bit of a bummer for me.

The charming cottage, equipped with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV, felt like a luxurious getaway nestled in the heart of nature. Exploring the taste of adventure, I embarked on a quest to decipher the enigmatic oven instructions, which took us through uncharted territories of laughter and teamwork. It was an experience that left us feeling triumphant and brought the whole group closer together.
WiFi reception was poor.

The location of the cottage is ideal for those who want a mix of tranquility and accessibility. It is situated close to a busy road, but the noise from the traffic didn't bother us at all. It is also conveniently close to Inverness, making it easy to explore the city with a car. the cottage itself is beautifully renovated, with high-end finishes and comfortable beds. the well-equipped kitchen, including the Aga, was a joy to use.
One negative aspect was the poor WIFI reception, which made it difficult to stay connected.

The key location of the cottage was perfect, allowing us to easily access all the attractions and amenities of the city. the price of the cottage was very sensible, providing great value for money. We also appreciated the attention to detail, with the cottage offering two helpful amenities that we didn't expect.
There were a few drawbacks during our stay. it would have been helpful to have the "Whathreewords" provided to help us find the entrance to the cottage more easily.
